MCPs

When you have BI Book AI activated you get access to our MCP servers. You can find the MCP server URLs’ under the “settings” tab in BI Book AI. All MCP servers authenticate with OAuth flow, meaning you will be redirected to your BI Book company to authenticate and get access to the tools available.

Currently we support the following MCP servers:

• BI Book Power BI

• OData v2

• OData v3

MCP: BI Book Power BI

The BI Book Power BI MCP enables you to talk to your own BI Book reports from the AI Model of your choice. The MCP server utilizes the same intelligence layer as BI Book AI and will efficiently find relevant KPI’s, fact tables and dimension tables to get the most relevant data for your prompt.

Users who can access the BI Book Power BI MCP server:

• All users can access the reports they have access to and that have been indexed. Same access logic as in BI Book agent

MCP: OData v2 & v3

The OData MCP has connection to your BI Book data warehouse and can query and filter raw data from your source systems that have been normalized into our SQL databases.

This is useful when you need access to the raw underlying data.

Users who can access the OData MCP server:
