BI Book Netvisor Activation guide

Before Activating

  1. Please check that your email in Netvisor is up-to-date and that you can log in to that email using either Google or Microsoft authentication. Otherwise, we cannot identify you, and your integration will not be active.
  2. If you have previously signed up for a BI Book Account and it is active, please contact our support if you run into activation issues, as the merging of your new and old account can sometimes cause this to break down.

Activating BI Book from Netvisor

  1. Log in to Netvisor with a user with rights to use the Netvisor store. Usually, only your account admins can do this.
  2. Go to the Netvisor Store either by clicking this link or following steps 3-4:
  3. (If step 2 skipped) In your upper right corner, choose "Store" and "Browse the Selection." 
  4.  (If step 2 skipped) Choose "Extensions" (in finish "Laajennokset")
  5. Scroll down to find BI Book, click "Activate"
  6. Press "Go to BI Book activation"
  7. After the redirect, the browser will ask you to login and authenticate the integration process. Log in according to the email service provider used by your company (Google or Microsoft authentication).

IMPORTANT! If you leave the login between, the service will not be activated.

8. After the start of the activation and login, you will be redirected to the next page. 

"Company VAT ID" and "Company Name" should be automatically filled in on the page (fill in if not). 

What remains to be filled in by you is:  

-"Company email" this can be the activator's email or your general organization email. 

-"Enter subdomain name" this can be your desired domain for example "Company Name Oy". 

Below subdomain field, you can read the terms and conditions and accept them. 

Finally, press the green button that says "Submit or "Create company" 

9. After submitting your company information, you will be transferred to the next page where you confirm the integration.     Press the button "Confirm connection".

10. After confirming the connection, you will be transferred to the next page where it says ""Netvisor" was succesfully         connected to "your company name" environment".

At this point press the green button that says "to dashboard", the service will then ask you to authenticate and log in to the service one more time to go through the integration.

Select one more time your organization's service provider (Google or Microsoft authentication) and log in with your credentials.

The service may also ask for login after approx. 10 seconds, even if you don't press the "to dashboard" button.


If you leave the login in between, the activation will not go through.

11. When you have done the upper steps you move to your organizations environment.

The integration will start automatically, and the report will be published as soon as the data has been retrieved. this can take up to a few hours, depending on the amount of data your account contains. Do not try to reactivate. Please be in contact if the report is not available within two hours.


  1. Can't find the "Store" in Netvisor? Check that you have enough user rights.
  2. Can't activate the integration in Netvisor? Check that you have enough user rights.
  3. If you reactivate the environment, make sure you have the necessary admin-level rights on the netvisor
